The second Voodooculture season continued the original idea with full consistency: underground techno beyond commercial club formats, local and international DJs and a clear focus on long, intense nights.
The long running times at Underdock were especially distinctive. The series was allowed to advertise an official “ends at 11 a.m.” on print media, which was unusual in Bremen in this form. Some events even continued until around 1 or 2 p.m.
During this phase, the slogan “Voodooculture – We Are Techno Family” emerged. Visitors increasingly identified with the series, Voodooculture T-shirts were created, and at Voodooculture 12 especially loyal guests were knighted during the party as members of the Voodooculture Round Table.
